Southern Style Macaroni and Cheese
A delicious custard style baked macaroni and cheese

  1. 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  2. 4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) butter
  3. 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
  4. 2 large eggs
  5. 1/2 cup milk
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease and 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Cook macaroni, following package directions, Drain well, return to pot.
  3. Add butter and still until melted.
  4. Add 2 cups of the cheese and still well.
  5. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs with the milk.
  6. Add the milk mixture to the macaroni. Stir until well combined.
  7. Spoon into the greased pan, sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  8. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until the cheese has melted and browned.
  1. Since I have a large family I always double this recipe.
  2. I bake it in a 9x13 baking pan 30 minutes.

So here I am . . .

I had been putting this off for quite a while, waiting until I had the perfect theme, which I was procrastinating working on.  After losing my main and my backup hard drives, and having to go back a couple of years, I decided to go ahead and put this up while I procrastinated some more on the perfect theme!

So, here I am . . . here you will find all my musing about my family, my recipes, sewing, well, pretty much anything that makes me a domestic demigoddess.  You see, I am definitely NOT a goddess, as they are supposed to be perfect, and, well, being far from perfect, I am a DEMIgoddess  lol
